Forensic Neuropsychology and Psychology Services, PC with offices In Pennington and Morristown, New Jersey seeks an early career clinical neuropsychologist with an interest and/or background in forensic psychology. In addition, a forensic psychologist with training and experience in clinical neuropsychology would be considered. Position is full time and must be NJ licensed or license eligible in NJ with APA-approved credentials. Training in forensic psychology is offered to neuropsychologists in this position as needed. Cases are highly diverse and involve both adults (70 percent) and children/pediatrics (30 percent). Evaluations include Parental Capacity/Best Interest of the Child Evaluations, Disability/Workers Comp Evaluations, Fitness for Duty evaluations, plaintiff and defense civil neuropsychological IME’s (Independent Medical Evaluations), risk assessments for violent and sexual offending, most evaluations having a neuropsychological focus. Our evaluations involve a very broad scope of disorders including dementias, TBI, personality disorders, and the full range of psychiatric and neurocognitive disorders. Two-Year Postdoctoral Fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology Sponsored by ACPN:

Forensic Psychology and Neuropsychology Services, P.C. and Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Associates, with offices in Pennington and Morristown, NJ, is pleased to announce one additional opening in our two-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology sponsored and approved by the American College of Professional Neuropsychology/American Board of Professional Neuropsychology. The practice provides an extremely broad range of both adult and pediatric neuropsychological assessment cases with a strong, but not exclusive, forensic emphasis.

Cases involve differential diagnosis of the full range of disorders, including traumatic brain injury, dementia, mild cognitive impairment, ADHD, PTSD and trauma-related disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, neurodevelopmental and learning disorders, personality disorders, depressive disorders, and anxiety-related disorders, etc. Opportunities are available for treatment, including psychotherapy, biofeedback/neurofeedback, and cognitive rehabilitation. Didactic trainings, team meetings, and intensive individual supervision are provided weekly.

Applicants must have completed or be near completion of an APA-accredited doctoral program and predoctoral internship. Applicants must have formal training and supervision in clinical neuropsychology. Experience in forensic psychology is helpful, but it is not required.

The practice is a training site for postdoctoral fellows and predoctoral externs. Postdoctoral fellows participate in training of the externs. Opportunities for research are also available. Postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology in a forensically oriented private practice. The Training Director Jonathan H. Mack, Psy.D., ABN, FACPN is board certified in clinical neuropsychology. The position is out of our offices in Pennington and Morristown, NJ with some in-state travel to facilities. The fellowship is an approved two-year postdoctoral training program in clinical neuropsychology through the Academy of the American College of Professional Neuropsychology. The practice provides an extremely broad range of both adult and pediatric neuropsychological assessment cases with a strong but not exclusive forensic emphasis, and has opportunities for treatment as well in psychotherapy, biofeedback/neurofeedback, and cognitive rehabilitation.
