Dr. Ball completed her B.A. in Psychology at the University of Rochester. She completed her J.D at Golden Gate University
and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a certificate in Neuropsychology at Pacific Graduate School of Psychology
(currently Pala Alto University) through a joint J.D./Ph.D. program. She completed an APA-accredited internship at the
Veterans Administration Hospital in Augusta, Me., where she worked providing outpatient neuropsychological assessment,
and psychotherapy as well as inpatient and outpatient forensic assessment through the State Forensic Service. She has
professional experience in Veteran Administration Hospitals, community mental health and State Forensic Service. Her
professional experiences have included therapy and psychological and neuropsychological assessment in both inpatient
and outpatient settings. Her areas of interest include forensic neuropsychological assessment, adult offender populations,
with a particular interest in violent offenders, treatment of individuals who are involved in the legal system, and the
interplay between the psychological and legal arenas.
